Rajeev Kaul

USIFA Director & President

Rajeev Kaul is a principal with the New York- based Kaul Group. The Kaul Group provides financing, corporate advisory, and tax and audit services to a diversified client base. Kaul Group is also involved with BPO operations in India. The Kaul Group helps enterprises at various stages of capitalization – from startups to mergers & acquisitions. Clients of the Kaul Group range from one-man start-up operations to Fortune 100 companies.
 
Rajeev is also a principal in Berkshire Ventures Corp – a hospitality related investment group whose portfolio properties are spread across from Washington DC to Florida. Rajeev is one of the founders of UnderHill Technologies Inc, which is in the process of setting up an IT Park in India.
 
Rajeev Kaul is a CPA and has a MBA in Finance. He has spoken about finance, investment and taxes at various places like Columbia Business School, Harvard Business Club, CUNY and Asian American research institute. The Kaul Group received top ten Asian American business award from USPAAACC in 2013.
 
Rajeev is a Board member of US India Friendship Alliance Inc and Women’s Empowerment Project. Rajeev is also a founding member of MP NRI Development Committee Inc, a NGO dedicated to the improvement of education of young girls in the state of MP, India. He currently is an Executive Board member of Indo- American Arts council Inc.

Mukesh Aghi

Mukesh Aghi is the President & Chief Executive Officer of the US- India Strategic Partnership Forum. Dr. Aghi has extensive experience working with business and government leaders in the U.S. and India to promote trade and strengthen ties between the two countries. He also currently serves as a trustee at Claremont Graduate University.

 

Previously, Dr. Aghi served as Chief Executive and Member of the Board at L&T Infotech where he expanded the business on a global level. During his time at Steria, Inc. (India), Dr. Aghi served as Chairman and CEO of the Asia-Pacific region. Additionally, Dr. Aghi was the founding CEO of Universitas 21 Global, the world’s largest consortium of research-led universities and global leader in providing post-graduate online education. He was also the President of IBM India for IBM Corporation, and spent time working with Ariba, Inc. and JD Edwards & Co.

 

Dr. Aghi holds several degrees, including an advanced management diploma from Harvard Business School, a Ph.D. in international relations from Claremont Graduate University, an MBA in international marketing from Andrews University, and a BA in business administration from the Middle East College, Beirut, Lebanon.

 

As a fluent speaker in many international languages, Dr. Aghi was recognized by Esquire Magazine as a Global Leader and has won many awards over the course of his professional career, including the J. R. D. Tata Leadership Award. Most recently, he was the recipient of the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award. In his free time, Dr. Aghi is a major marathon and mountaineering enthusiast. He has competed in over 27 international marathons and climbed some of the highest peaks in North America and Europe.

Ms. Bhavani R. Parameswar

Bhavani is the Executive Director & President of Indivate Inc., a wholly-owned US based venture of ITC Limited, India (www.itcportal.com) involved primarily in business development related to ITC’s CPG interests. She has been instrumental in setting up ITC’s footprint in the US and presently serves on the boards of several other ITC Group Companies – ITC Infotech (USA) Inc. and Technico Technologies Inc. (Canada), as well. Among her other commitments are – serving on the Advisory Council of the Women’s Education Project (WEP), and Safe Water Network (India).

 

Ravi Aurora

Ravi Aurora is Senior Vice President, Global Public Policy & Indo-Pacific Policy Operations at Mastercard. In this role, he leads a series of diverse global thought leadership strategic initiatives focused on public policy, advocacy and community engagement affairs across the globe, coupled with policy operations for the Indo-Pacific region. He is responsible for Mastercard’s Policy Center for the Digital Economy coupled with Digital Tech Policy and strategic relationships with multilateral organizations such as the World Bank Group, UN, AFI (Alliance for Financial Inclusion) and others. Prior to Mastercard, he has held leadership positions at Kraft Foods and Saint-Gobain Norton Abrasives.

Ravi also serves as the global strategic advisor for ASIA, an employee-led Business Resource Group at Mastercard focused on creating a more inclusive culture and effectively driving business growth, financial performance and success in the global marketplace.

Ravi served on the Executive Committee of the Better Than Cash Alliance (BTCA) and is currently on the Board of Directors of Woodstock Institute, whose mission is to create a just financial system in which lower-wealth persons and communities, and people and communities of color, can achieve economic security and community prosperity. He also serves on the Board of the U.S. – Bangladesh Business Council.

Ravi is also a recipient of Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business (2015), awarded by the Asian American Business Development Center. He holds a M.S. in Industrial Engineering and MBA from Louisiana State University in the United States and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India.
